ABOUT
Senior living is personal to me.
I’m Aashish Kolagotla, founder of Evermere Senior Advisors.
This work begins with a simple belief: people deserve to be heard, especially when life becomes complicated.

Friendships that changed how I see aging.
For over a decade, I’ve volunteered in a spiritual retreat community in northern California. Over time, many older adults there became long-standing friends.
Informally, I found myself alongside them as they navigated technology, rehab, skilled nursing, assisted living, and other aging-related transitions. Those personal relationships helped me understand how much thoughtful support can matter.
A visit I haven’t forgotten.
My wife and I once visited a friend in a nursing facility. Other residents began gathering around us simply because they wanted someone to talk with.
The loneliness of that experience stayed with me. It reminded me that aging is not only about services or settings. It is about connection, dignity, and being seen. My own family’s experience with aging and caregiving brought that lesson even closer to home.
My mother lives with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a progressive neurological condition. Walking alongside my family as her needs have changed has given me a deeply personal understanding of how emotional and complicated decisions around aging and care can become.
A different kind of experience.
My professional background is in product and technology leadership. I’ve spent my career listening carefully, structuring complicated situations, and helping people make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information.
I bring those skills to Evermere with humility, personal involvement, and a commitment to understanding the person before discussing placement.
A thoughtful person beside you.
People making some of the most consequential decisions of their lives deserve a thoughtful person beside them.
Not someone trying to make the fastest placement. Not another website returning hundreds of results.
Someone willing to listen. Someone willing to learn what matters. Someone willing to say, “I don’t think this is right for your mother.” And someone who remains interested in what happens after the decision has been made.
What you can expect from me

Local by design
Evermere serves San Jose, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and surrounding South Bay communities. I’m intentionally building a local practice, with personal relationships and thoughtful guidance rather than scale for its own sake.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you call.
Tell us what’s happening. We’ll listen, ask some questions, and help you think through what comes next.
