Why I started Evermere
I’m Aashish Kolagotla. Through many years of volunteering at a spiritual retreat community in northern California, I developed friendships with older adults and saw how difficult aging transitions can be.
Those experiences, together with my own family’s journey through aging and caregiving, made this work deeply personal.
My career in product and technology leadership taught me to listen carefully, structure complex situations, and help people make thoughtful decisions when there is no obvious answer.
People making some of the most consequential decisions of their lives deserve a thoughtful person beside them.
